Logo Toolbox

May. 14, 2013

Logo Toolbox V2.3 uses various fill types, beveling methods, stroking techniques and extrusion effects to facilitate fast & easy logo creation. It supports Text Logo creation and Alpha to Logo Selection for any image. Questions and comments can be posted to this site or to the Official Support Thread on GIMP Chat.

Due to the number of input items on the Create Logo dialog, installation of the Script-Fu Scrolling Interface Modification is recommended for those with lower resolution displays..

A complete Logo Toolbox Tutorial is available on GIMP Chat forums, outlining the operation of this script.

  1. The toolbox goes full screen…
How do I access the options at the bottom??

  2. Thank you… works perfectly!

  3. Thank you Tux for another amazing update… Kudo’s

  4. So sad, does not work with Gimp 2.9!

    • I’ve never tested this script with GIMP 2.9.x because there there is no official release of GIMP 2.9.x. GIMP 2.9.x is the development version. The last official release was GIMP 2.8.14.

  5. I can’t get gimp to see it. I tried with Vanilla 2.8.14 on Mac (Yosemite) it sees other scripts but not this.

    • There are MAC users of this script. Coding wise, I can’t think of anything unique about the script that would keep it form working on a MAC. You might want to ask about this issue on the support forums at GIMP Chat. Other MAC users might have some suggestions for you.
