Center Light V1.0

This plugin allows you to create a vignette around the current image or layer.

Menu Location
Filters>Apply Vignette

You are able to choose a custom opacity, blur radius, color, and size for your vignette. You may also choose to apply a vignette to the center of the image/layer, creating a circle in the center of the image or layer. Lastly, you are able to choose whether to apply the vignette to the active layer, or whole image. Applying it to the active layer will create a vignette the size of the alpha channel of the active layer, and the vignette will only show up on that alpha channel.

  1. Hi,
Stunning ! It works with Gimp 2.9.5 !
(I’ve tried several vignetting plugins or scripts , this one works)
I’ve placed the “vignette.scm” in different folders to be sure. Sorry Gimp but it’s a mess 🙂

    Gimp 2.8
    1) C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\share\gimp\2.0\scripts
    2) C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins
    3) C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\Python\Lib

    > Does not work for Gimp 2.8 (the tool stays greyed)

    Gimp 2.9.5 (unstable version)
    1) C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.9.5-std\gimp\share\gimp\2.0\scripts
    2) C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.9.5-std\python\Lib
    3) C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.9.5-std\gimp\lib\gimp\2.0\python

    > The ‘tool’ appears on the end of Menu/Filters/Apply Vignette

Actually I don’t know witch one is used.

    Thanks a lot
    Best regards
